Plank           Hold 30 seconds

Workout 2 **do 3 sets of each workout**
Single Leg Hip Raise  12-15 each leg (Same position as above BUT raise one leg until its in line with your other thigh.)
Wide Arm Push Up   As many as possible
Crunch                    15
Reverse Crunch       15
Dumbell Shoulder Press 8-10

Juice Fast + Costco = Fail :/

We had one more juice (for lunch) it was tomatoes and celery....then...we went to costco (and tacoma boys) for groceries...well if you've been to costco (or sams club) you'd know it probably wasn't the best idea on our part to do so....needless to say well we made it til lunch only haha sad I know...so guess we will try a day we don't need to grocery shop where they hand out free samples of their foods...thankfully we got some yummy fruits so we aren't failing too bad. :p
For dinner the awesome cook (my hubby) made well...I don't know the name of it, but its from the Forks Over Knives cookbook :)
*******
2 cups chunked potatoes (golden or red)
2 onions
2 garlic cloves (minced)
4-5 cups chopped exotic mushrooms
6 cups packed, coarsely chopped dino kale (stems removed)
2 tablespoons soy sauce (gluten free bought at tacoma boys :))
1-2 tsp chile paste
freshly ground pepper

Juicing

Good morning! So the hubby and I decided to do a 24 hour juice fast...soooo I decided today I would post about juicing :) I'll also post the recipes as we go, so you can enjoy them as well! We are new to juicing but have enjoyed it and so has our 5 year old, which is always a PLUS!  Well first thing first you need a juicer, (a blender works, but is prob more work and wont juice as well.) We got ours at Walmart, heres a link of the one we have: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Jack-LaLanne-Power-Juicer/14968099
Ok so some facts for you guys, like I said we are new so dont know all there is to know but figured Id share what we have read or learned so far. Most the things Ive learned are from the movie called Fat,Sick, and Nearly Dead. (http://www.fatsickandnearlydead.com/) The movie is a great movie showing testimonials of two men (and others) who had life threatening weight and diseases...showing the alternatives to medication/surgery fix in just 60 days.
Why juice you ask....Loose weight? Healthy? Well both for some people...and health for everyone! Another reason....check out the recipe below and see how many fruits/veggies it takes to make ONE juice...would you realy eat all that by itself?  You're still eating something even though its in juice form, plus it has so many micro nutrients (helps w building muscle and immunity)...unlike the boxed stuff from the store. You dont need to fast for 24 hrs, 10 days, or however long to have juicing have a positive effect! Just one juice  a day makes a difference (along with healthy eating the rest of the day). 60% of our diets are processed foods because its fast, easy, and convenient...eating clean (not processed) makes such a difference in our life along with exercise. Its so much more then just loosing weight and looking good (those are huge bonus's) but its about health and getting rid of the risks for diabetes, cancer stroke...getting better self confidence, thinking more clearly, better energy, better sleep, ect. Here is a link with some good info... http://www.alternativeratreatments.com/eat-to-live.html. Ok ok enough for this post! :) Ill post the rest of our juices and more info with them.
